The 34th season of the Lake City Gentlemen's Hockey League started on Tuesday with a rematch of last season Lake City Cup Final. Your Fathers Moustache got a little revenge from last season Final by out scoring the defending Champions Secunda Mariners 8 to 6. Guy Boudreau and Glenn Dahlgren each buried a pair, while Stewart MacRae added 1 with 4 helpers in the victory. The Mariners had 6 different goal scorers, Jason Troini and Graeme Power had a goal and an assist.

Realty Partners started the 2014-15 season on the right foot, doubling up the Wild Turkey's 8 to 4. Partners' Clayton Rogers led the attack with a hattrick and Peter MacKay helped with 3 assists. Tyler Gradin had 2 goals and an assists for the Wild on Thursday.

In Thursday's late game saw the Dartmouth Alpines and Realty Partner Rinkrats go into overtime tied at 2. Nothing was settled in OT and the game ended in a tie.
Matt Quinn scored both goals for the Alpines, including a shortie. Chris MacNeil and Kenny Blake game tying goal replied for the Rinkrats.
