Mighty Mariners.

Week 9 saw the Dartmouth Alpines give Your Fathers Moustache all they could handle, but fell just short in a 4 to 3 loss.
The two teams traded goals in the 1^st period, with Terry Forbes opening the scoring for YFM on the power play. Matt Quinn replied for the Alpines, only to have Moustache’s Aaron Akitt regaining the one goal lead. Todd Parker would tie the game at 2 before the 1^st period ended.
The Moustache would open up a 2 goal lead in the 2^nd period, with Akitt’s second of the night on the power play and Stewart MacRae, which would be the game winner.
With their goaltender on the bench the Alpines would narrow the score, as Matt Quinn fired his second.
 
The Wild Turkey’s misery would continue as the Realty Partner Rinkrats whitewashed them 10 to 0. The shutout would be Tyler Ravlo’s 3^rd of the season.
Matthew Beaver fired a hat trick and a pair of helpers, while Rob Ritchie had 2 goals and 3 assists. Dave Roode also found the net twice, with Scott Leverman, Luke MacDonald and Blake Trask adding singles.
For the Wild Turkey’s, it was their 7^th straight loss to start the season.
 
The last game of the week saw the Secunda Mariners stunning the Realty Partners Sold Signs 11 to 4. Evan Cheverie led the attack with 2 goals and 4 assists, Tyler Hawes had a pair of goals and 3 helpers, Jordan Cox would also score 2 goals and helped with 2 assists, and Jonah Leroux would also bury a pair for the Mariners. Kyle Morash, Chris O’Donnell and Derek Taylor adding singles.
Stu Lenehan fired a pair for the Sold Signs, with Clayton Rogers and Ryan Morris adding one each.
This was the Sold Signs 2^nd loss of the season, but still remaining in 2^nd Place.
