GOALS!!!!!!

The Lake City Gentlemen's Hockey League started it's 36th season on Tuesday, October 10th at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.
The League cut in half, with the folding of the Dartmouth Alpines, Wild Turkey's and Realty Partners Sold Signs. The remaining teams, Secunda Mariners, Your Fathers Moustache and the Realty Partner Rinkrats have decided to play.

One team would play twice a week and the first week Your Fathers Moustache started it off.
Tuesday night the Moustache took on the defending Lake City Cup Champions, Secunda Mariners.
The Mariners skated away with a 7 to 5 victory. Decan Parker potted a hattrick to lead the way. Mike Molloy buried a pair, while Dom Howell and Kyle Morash added singles.
Neal Pashkoski found the twine twice for the Moustache, with Sean Fraser, Drew Jarrett and Scott MacDonald completed the scoring.

Thursday night the Moustache fell again, this time to the Realty Partner Rinkrats by a score of 11 to 8.
Rookie Andrew Bonazza belted 4 goals for his debut with  the Rinkrats. Jamie Blom blasted a pair, with Jeremy Mock, Scott Leverman, Justin Dowding, Luke MacDonald and Stu Lenehan ex Sold Signs adding singles.
Last season's Scoring Champion Neal Pashkowski continued where he left off, scoring 3 goals and 4 helpers in the loss. Stewart MacRae and Aaron Akitt each fired a couple and Jeff Camery add one goal and a pair of assists.

The Realty Partner Rinkrats will play the two game week in Week 2 of the season. Meeting the Secunda Mariners on Tuesday and a rematch against Your Fathers Moustache on Thursday.
