Game 4 Set for Cole Harbour Place 2

Due to roster availability of the Secunda Mariners, Tuesday, March 28th's game 4 at the Dartmouth Sportsplex was cancelled. Game 4 in the best of 5 Lake City Cup is now schedule for Thursday, March 30th at Cole Harbour Place 2 at 9:00pm.

It is unfortunate that some players can't make a game, due to work, injury or personal matters and in a perfect world everybody would be their in what has been a very close and competitive final.

This week it's the Mariners with roster problems, next week it's the Alpines. Last years Finals with the Chiefs and Mariners it was the Chiefs who couldn't ice their whole team in the Championship series, losing the league's Top Scorer and MVP - Roddy MacCormick who got a part in the '72 Summit Series movie (Roddy plays Don Awrey in the movie, coming on CBC soon) and a couple of other players because of work. However games had to be played.

If a game 5 is needed, I will let the two teams work out what is best and fair for them. We can keep game 5, as what originally was scheduled at the Dartmouth Sportsplex on Tuesday, April 4th at 9:00pm or move it to Friday, March 31st at Cole Harbour Place 2 at 9:30pm.
