The Provincial Government has extended it's closure of arenas until January 11th for any league games.The Provincial Government has extended it's closure of arenas until January 11th.
Recreation hockey leagues can scrimmage as long as they remain a consistent group of 25, no officials are used, and they continue to follow the Hockey NS Rebound Plan (self-screening, registry, and hygiene). Groups must play with the same 25 participants for the duration of these restrictions. It cannot be a game between opposing teams or part of any organized league or tournament. So to reiterate; no official league or tournament play and no officials. Also, no spectators.
