LCGHL 23rd Season, About To Begin

The 2004-2005 Lake City Gentlemen's Hockey League is entering it's 23rd season. The season begins on Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 with 2 games, starting with the TJ Devils taking on the last season's Regular Season Champions the Secunda Mariners. The nightcap has the Sandtrap Chiefs hosting the the Lake City Cup Champions Dartmouth Alpines.

Last seasons top four teams will be playing against each other 4 times and playing the bottom four teams only 3 times, this is reversed for the bottom four teams. Each team will play a 24 game schedule, with every team making the playoffs. The 2005 Lake City Cup Playoffs will begin on Thursday, March 3rd, 2005.   

The holiday break this season includes Thursday, December 23rd and 30th, plus Tuesday, December 28th, 2004. One other regular season date that is pre-empted is Thursday, October 21st, 2004 for the annual Christmas Craft Show.
