Goal Scoring Down In Hockey ??

Who said goal scoring is down in hockey? You wouldn't ask any of the goalies that after Thursday night's games.

In the first game we saw the Sandtrap Chiefs, led by Shane Gibbs' hat trick, defeat the Fairview Aces 9 to 5. Aces' Steve Lawlor had the trick for his team.

The second game had the Secunda Mariners out score Scotiabank 8 to 7.  In this game Chris Kelly of the Mariners and Todd Miles of Scotiabank  lead their teams with a hat trick each.

And in the last game of the night, T.J. Devils downed the Dartmouth Alpines 7 to 6. Steve Kinch of the Devils supplied the offence with two goals and an assist, Alpines' Pat Tardif replied with the same for Dartmouth.

So go ahead ask the goaltenders of Thursday night's games; Trevor, Jason, Peter, Cory, Jamie or Graham  if goal scoring is down in hockey!
