The 2012 Lake City Cup Final will be a rematch between the Secunda Mariners and the defending Champion Rink Rats.
The best of 5 series begins on Tuesday, March 6th at 9:30pm (note time), following a Junior 'A' game.
The Rink Rats advanced to the Final, with a 2 game sweep of the Dartmouth Alpines, by scores of 6 to 4 and 3 to 1.
Secunda Mariners needed a 3rd game before eliminating Your Fathers Moustache. Secunda took game 1, 7 to 4, followed by the Moustache tying the series at 1 with a 5 to 3 victory. The 3rd and deciding game saw the Mariners nip the Moustache 5 to 4, to make there way back to the Finals.
Secunda Mariners will be looking for revenge from the 2011 Lake City Cup Final sweep by the Rink Rats.
