Alpines Move Ahead of Realty Partners

Tuesday night had the Secunda Mariners sailing past the Wild Turkey's 7 to 3. With Mike Fougere in the penalty box with a double minor, the Mariners scored 3 shorthanded goals, including the game winner. The win put Secunda into 2nd place, while the Turkey's fell to 0 and 5 on the season.

Thursday had the 2nd meeting between last season's Lake City Cup Finalist, and for the 2nd time Your Fathers Moustache defeated the Rink Rats. Led by Moustache's Aaron Akitt's 2 goals and an assist, downed the Rats 4 to 1 and remained undefeated this season.
The late game was a back and forth battle between Realty Partners and the Dartmouth Alpines. 2 goals by Alpines' Marc Whebby, including a shortie, lifted the Alpines to a 6 to 4 victory. The win moved Dartmouth past Realty Partners in the standings by a point, but the Partners have a game in hand.
