The Rink Rats stayed in 2nd place as they feasted on the Wild Turkey's 8 to 1. Chris MacNeil led the attack with a hattrick. Wild's Jordie Mann answered in the loss, their 7th in a row.
Thursady night had the Dartmouth Alpines win their third straight game by defeating the Secunda Mariners 2 to 1.
Goaltenders' Steve Mason of the Alpines and Andrew Sim of the Mariners brought their 'A' game. Veteran Todd Parker potted the game winner with 3:04 remaining in regulation time. The Secunda Mariners aquired long time league defenceman Jim Morash for the game, Jim holds the league record for winning the Lake City Cup, 6 times.
The last game of the week had Your Fathers Moustache rebound from last weeks overtime loss with a convincing 7 to 3 thumping of Realty Partners. YFM's Aaron Akitt found the net 4 times, including the game winner and a shorty. Realty Partners fell below the 500 mark on the season at 3 wins and 4 losses.
