Race For First

The week started off with the Secunda Mariners nipping the Realty Partners 3 to 2 on Tuesday night. After trailling 2 to 0 after the 1st period the Mariners scored 3 unanswered goals in the 2nd, including Derek Taylor's game winning goal with 36 seconds remaining in regulation time. The win opened up a 3 point lead on 4th place Dartmouth Alpines.

Thursday night saw the 1st place Realty Partner Rinkrats pound out a 8 to 3 victory over the Dartmouth Alpines. The Rinkrats showed their depth with 7 different goal scores, Kevin Prfrey found the twine twice. Matt Quinn replied with a pair for the Alpines.

Your Fathers Moustache kept pace for 1st place, remaining 1 point back, following a 9 to 2 thumping over the short staffed Wild Turkey's. A pair of goals from Craig MacDonald, Aaron Akitt and Neal Pashkoski led the attack, Aaron and Neal also had 3 helpers each. The Moustache remain 1 point back of the Rinkrats for 1st Place.

Realty Partner Rinkrats' Rob Ritchie has been named Executive of the Year! Not only are the Rinkrats currently in 1st Place, but have paid off their League fee's for the year. Congratulations Rob and the Rinkrats!
