Shooters Up

The Dartmouth Alpines broke a 2 to 2 tie, with under 4 minutes remaining in regulation time and added another 47 seconds later to hand the Realty Partner Rinkrats their second straight loss. The 4 to 3 defeat opens up a chance for Your Fathers Moustache in move back into 1st Place with a win Thursday night over the Wild Turkey's. The Alpines had 4 different goal scorers, but were led by Jason Thibeau and Nick Croft's goal and 2 assists each, in Tuesday's lone game.   

Thursday night was a goalies nightmare, starting with the early game. Your Fathers Moustache scored 12 1st period goals, on route to a,.......wait for it,........15 to 10 thrashing of the Wild Turkey's. The 'Stache's Neal Pashkoski took over the league's leading scorer race with 5 goals and 2 assists. Teammate and long time YFM, Glenn Dahlgren found the net 4 times. Terry Tramblay of the Wild had the trick with a helper. The victory, along with the Rinkrats loss on Tuesday moved YFM back into 1st Place in the standings, 1 point up.

The nightcap was no better for the goaltenders, as the Secunda Mariners out shoot the Realty Partners 10 to 8. Graeme Power potted 3 goals and 2 helper for the victory, including the GWG. Partners' Michael Crawley and Ryan Boucher each had 3 goals and 3 assists each in the loss.
The win was the Mariners 3rd straight win as they start getting hot for the upcoming playoffs.
