Battle for 1st, Not so Much.

Week 4 started out Tuesday with the Realty Partner Rinkrats doubling up on the Wild Turkey's 4 to 2. The 'rats scored 2 goals in the 1st period, 21 seconds apart to lead 2 to 1 after the 1st period, on goals by Mitchell Wallace and Huey Lasaga. Jordie Mann replied for the Wild. Chad Anderson and Luke MacDonald potted goals in the 2nd for the Rinkrats and Wild's Pat Dufour scored their only goal of the period.
The Rinkrats pick up their first win and improved to 1-1-1, while the Wild Turkey's remained pointless on the season.

Thursday night's early game had the 2-0-1 Dartmouth Alpines take on the 2-0-0 Your Fathers Moustache, for a battle for 1st place in the standings.
It did not turn out to be much of a battle as YFM thrashed the Alpines 8 to 1. Neal Pashkoski buried a hattrick, as well as set up a pair. Teammate Stewart MacRae found the net twice, with Brad Stewart, Steve MacDonald and Eric MacQuarrie adding singles. Alpines' Jason Thibeau  scored their lone goal.
Quoted after the game "The Moustache will go undefeated for the whole season".

In the late game the defending champs had a rough go, as the Realty Partners Sold Signs thumped the Secunda Mariners 7 to 4. Tyler Noseworthy nailed a hattrick in the victory. Peter MacKay added 2 and Clayton Rogers and Michael Crawley found the twine once, also Jordan Lind had 4 helpers for the Sold Signs.
Secunda had 4 different goal scorers Derek Taylor, Richard Cashin, Graeme Power and Joe Bradford. Taylor also picked up his first PIM on the season. Mariners' PK was on as the killed off all 3 of their penalties.
The Realty Partners are now known as the Realty Partners Sold Signs and not to be confused with the Realty Partner Rinkrats.
