Lake City Cup Rematch

Tuesday night started week 7 with the Realty Partners Sold Signs continuing the Wild Turkey's losing ways, with a 8 to 5 victory.
Signs Michael Crawley lead the charge with a 6 point night, 4 goals and 2 assists. Jordan Lind, Scott MacDonald, Eric Smith and Dave Peters also found the twine. 
Wild's Todd Miles potted a hattrick in the loss, with Pat Dufour and Nick Sheffer also contributing. The Turkey's now fall to 0 wins and 6 losses.
The Sold Signs move to .500 on the season with 3 wins and 3 losses.

Thursday's early game saw a rematch of the last season Lake City Cup. This was the second meeting of the season between Your Fathers Moustache and Secunda Mariners, with YFM outscoring the Mariners 8 to 6 in the season opener.
This game needed a little more work, with the game heading into overtime.
The Mariners jumped out to a 3 to 0 1st period lead on a pair of goals from Richard Cashen and one from Jonah Leroux. The Moustache fought back before the period ended with Neal Pashkoski, Sean Fraser and Kyle Cuvelier replying to draw the game at 3.
Secunda jumped out again, with 2 goals from Chris O'Donnell, his 8 and 9 on the season, giving the Mariners a 5 to 3 lead. Like the 1st period, the Moustache fought back with a pair of goals from Terry Forbes and Guy Boudreau.
The game ended 5 to 5 in regulation time forcing a 5 minute overtime, which solved nothing.
It was the first time season the Moustache they didn't win, but remained as they say "wee still undefeated".

The nightcap had the Realty Partner Rinkrats getting by the Dartmouth Alpines 6 to 4. The victory moved the Rinkrats alone in 2nd place and only 2 points behind the 1st place Moustache. Dartmouth fell to .500 on the season and remained in 3rd place.
Dave Roode and Justin Dowding each had a pair in the win. Mitchell Wallace, Joe Sanford also found the net for the Rinkrats.
Alpines' Matt Quinn, Phil Diochon, Evan Bezanson and Tim Foster scored in the loss.
