Mariners Remind Moustache

The New Year of 2015 has arrived as well as Week 13 of the Lake City Gentlemen's Hockey League.

Tuesday, January 6th 2015 sees a rematch of last year's Lake City Cup Final.
3rd Place  Secunda Mariners sent a reminder to 1st Place Your Fathers Moustache that they still can be beat.
2 goals each from Chris O'Donnell, Derek Taylor, Richard Cashen and Graeme Power led the Secunda Mariner to an 8 to 6 victory.
Neal Pashkoski fired 3 goals and added 3 helpers in only the 2nd loss of the season to the Moustache. Neal's 6 points moved him 7 points ahead for 1st overall in the scoring race. Cody Cuvelier, Eric MacQuarrie and Stewart MacRae also chipped in with a goal.

Thursday night saw the 2nd Place Realy Partner Rinkrats move into a 1st Place tie with Your Father Moustache after crushing the winless Wild Turkey's 9 to 1.
Mark Tanner and Mitchell Wallce each buried a pair, while Dave Roode, Jeff Sanford, Justin Dowding, Luke MacDonald and Blake Trask each had 1 goal.
Todd Miles of the Wild Turkey's scored the first goal of the game and the Turkey's only goal.

Thursday's late game had the Dartmouth Alpines nip the Realty Partners Sold Signs 3 to 2 in overtime.
Alpines' David Bourne and Jason Thibeau opened the scoring in the 2nd period less then 2 minutes apart.
Scott MacDonald of Sold Signs cut the score in half just over a minute later. 
Signs tied the game at 2 with 1:35 remaining in the 2nd period on a goal from Tyler Noseworthy.
Alpines' Jason Thibeau becomes the hero with his 2nd of the game in overtime, scoring with 1:19 remaining.
