Rinkrats and Mariners Making Moves

Week 15 started out with Your Fathers Moustache looking for their first victory of 2015, having dropped their first 2 games after the break. The Dartmouth Alpines would have none of that by defeating them 3 to 1, extending their losing streak to 3.
The Mostache started right, taking a 1 to 0 lead on a goal by Eric MacQuarrie, just under 5 minutes into the game.
The Alpines tied it at 1, just under 5 minutes remaining in the 1st period on a goal from Jason Thibeau.
Steve Healy would give the Alpines a 2 to 1 lead at 14:41 of the 2nd period
Goaltenders Cody Cuvelier of YFM and Ryan Griggs with Dartmouth would keep the game close. 
The Moustache looking to tie the game, pulled Cuvelier for an extra attacker, but it backfired as Matt Quinn of Dartmouth buried a empty netter.

Thursday's early game had the Secunda Mariners move 1 point ahead of Your Fathers Moustache, for 2nd Place, with an 8 to 2 thumping of the Wild Turkey's.
Cole Hawes led the attack with a 'trick and a helper and Andrew Hawrylak and Dean Tucker each adding a pair for the Mariners.
Jordie Mann and Ryan Taylor found the twine for the Wild.

The nightcap saw the Rinkrats increase their 1st Place lead with a 8 to 5 shootout win against the Sold Signs.
Rats' defenceman Scott Leverman blasted a hattrick in the victory. Dave Roode added a pair, with Chris MacNeil, Blake Trask and Mitchell Wallace popping singles.
Sold Signs' Tyler Noseworthy and Mariners' Kyle Morash each buried a pair, with Dave Peters nailing a single. Morash played for the shorthanded Signs.
The win increased their 1st Place to 3 points on the Mariners and 4 points on the Moustache.
