Week 17; Mariners smooth sailing past the Alpines; Moustache make a statement pounding Sold Signs; Rinkrats show no mercy on the Turkey's.

The Secunda Mariners doubled up on the Dartmouth Alpines 6 to 3 to start off Week 17.
Secunda's Tyler Hawes and Chris O'Donnell each buried a couple, with Dean Tucker and Cole Hawes putting one over the goal line.
Tim Foster of the Alpines popped a pair and Nick Croft added the other.
It was the Alpines second game in a row that they lost 6 to 3.
The win moved the Mariners 1 point ahead of the Rinkrats for 1st Place, but have played 2 more games.

 Thursday night Your Fathers Moustache looked like the team we saw during the first half of the season. Trashing the Realty Partners Sold Signs 11 to 5.
Moustache's Stewart MacRae had 3 goals and 3 assists, Guy Boudreau 2 goals and 3 helpers, Neal Pashkoski 1 goal with 4 assists led the attack. Kyle Cuvelier, Sean Fraser, Aaron Akitt, Terry Forbes and Glenn Dahlgren helped fill the net.
Michael Crawley and J.P. Harvey each found the net twice and Ryan Boucher buried a powerplay goal for the Sold Signs.

The last game of the week had the Realty Partner Rinkrats move back into 1st Place with a 8 to 2 plucking of the Wild Turkey's.
Dave Roode scored a powerplay goal and had the game winner, his League Leading 4th and Jeff Sanford also scored 2 goals for the Rinkrats. Scott Leverman, Justin Dowding, Joe Sanford and veteran Rob Richie each found the twine past Wild's goaltender Steve Baumhour.
Scott Sheffer scored a shorthanded goal and Jordie Mann had the other goal for the winless Wild.
