First Place Clinched?

2015-02-27

Rinkrats and Mariners shake hands after game.

Week 19; Alpines nip Wild 3 to 1; Sold Signs blast rookie goalie in a 10 8 victory over YFM; Mariners alone in 1st Place, after defeating Rinkrats 5 to 3.

Not much left to be decided, except who will finish in 1st Place in Week 19.

First game of the week saw the Dartmouth Alpines, on goals by David Bourne, Evan Bezanson and Matt Quinn defeat the, still pointless Wild Turkey's 3 to 1.
Jordie Mann replied for the Wild, whom now are 0 -19 - 0 for the season.
The win moved the Alpines 1 point up on the Sold Signs for 4th place.

Thursday night saw the Realty Partners Sold Signs move 1 point back ahead of the Dartmouth Alpines, after a 10 to 8 sluggfest over Your Fathers Moustache.
Sold Signs were led by a 4 goal outburst from JP Harvey. Other snipers were Michael Crawley, Tyler Noseworthy, Tyson Aalders, Ryan Boucher, Clayton Rogers and Jonathan Clarke.
Moustache had 2 goals from Guy Boudreau and singles from Corey Cuevilier, Brad Stewart, Kyle Cuevilier, Terry Forbes, Glenn Dahlgren and Neal Pashkoski.
Defenceman Jeff MacNeil put the pads on for YFM, when regular goaltender Cody Cuvelier couldn't make it, ouch.
The loss means the Moustache will finish in 3rd Place.

The last game of the week, was a battle for 1st Place between Realty Partner Rinkrats and Secunda Mariners, both teams tied for 1st.
The Mariners would win their 10th in a row, with a 5 to 3 victory over the Rinkrats.
Secunda got 2 goals each from Derek Taylor and Tyler Hawes, Graeme Power added an empty netter.
Blake Trask burried 2 for the Rats and Chris MacNeil added a single.
The Mariners have 1 game remaining next week, while the Rinkrats have 2 games remaining.
