2015 Lake City Cup Final, Moustache vs Rinkrats

Game 2 of the Semi Finals took place last night at the Shearwater Flyers Forum.
The early game was the City Semi Final Series between the defending Lake City Cup Champions Secunda Mariners and Your Fathers Moustache, with the Moustache up 1 game to 0 in the Best of 3 series following an 8 to 2 Game 1 victory.
The Moustache having lost in 5 games in last season Lake City Cup Final, made sure that they were not going to lose to the Mariners again this season and eliminated Secunda in 2 straight games, with a 6 to 3 win.
Neal Pashkoski led the way with 2 goals and an assist, while Aaron Akitt, Glenn Dahlgren with the game winner, Steve MacDonald and Terry Forbes added singles for YFM.
Mariners' Jason Troini buried a pair and a helper, with Richard Cashen adding a goal and 2 assists in the loss.
Your Fathers Moustache advance to the Lake City Cup Final for the 3rd year in a row.

In the Lake Semi Final Series had Realty Partner Rinkrats up 1 game to 0 on the Realty Partners Sold Signs, following a 5 to 4 victory in Game 1.
The Rinkrats would win the series in 2 straight games, after a 3 to 2 win in Game 2.
The Rinkrats jumped out to a 3 to 0 lead after the 1st period on goals by Huey Lasaga, Dave Roode and Justin Dowding's 3rd straight game winner.
Sold Signs scored at 15:16 of the 2nd period, from Jordan Lind. That seemed to spark the Signs as they would score again 1 minute and 30 seconds later, by Tyler Noseworthy.
The Sold Signs continued to push hard the rest of the way but could not beat Rinkrats' goaltender Tyler Raulo.

Game 1 of the 2015 Lake City Cup Final begins tonight, with Game 2 going Thursday.
The Moustache and Rinkrats met 4 times during the regular season, with the Rinkrats winning 3 of those games.
