Moustache Take Two

The 2015 Lake City Cup Championships started this week, with the Realty Partner Rinkrats hosting Your Fathers Moustache in the Best of 5 Final at the Shearwater Flyers Forum.

Game 1 was played on Tuesday, April 14th and had the Realty Partner Rinkrats jump out to a 1 to 0 lead on a goal from Joe Sanford at 18:08 of the 1st period.
Your Fathers Moustache would tie it up at 1, when Guy Boudreau buried it past Tyler Raulo at the 12:35 mark. Boudreau would get his 2nd 2 minutes and 24 seconds later, to give the Moustache a 2 to 1 lead. This is how the 1st period would end.

The Moustache would open up a 2 goal lead, when Aaron Atkitt would score at the 12:36 mark, making it 3 to 1.
The Rinkrats narrowed the score with 3:52 remaining in the 2nd period, as Huey Lasaga found the twine past YFM's goaltender Cody Cuvelier.
The Rinkrats pulled goaltender Raulo, for the extra attacker, but Guy Boudreau would get his 3rd of the game, into an empty net with just 1 second remaining in regulation time.

Your Fathers Moustache would go up 1 game to 0, after a 4 to 2 victory. The Moustache played without Sean Fraser and Scott Chaisson, while the Rinkrats had a full roster. YFM went 0 for 1 on the powerplay, the Rinkrats 0 for 2. It was the Rinkrats first loss of the 2015 Playoffs.

Game 2 of the Best of 5 Final was played on Thursday and like Game 1 the Rinkrats take a 1 to 0 lead, as Shawn Hurley beat Cody Cuvelier at 6:48 of the 1st period.
Moustache's Guy Boudreau would score his 4th of the series and tie the game up at 1, with 1:21 remaining in the 1st period.
Boudreau would beat Rinkrats' goaltender Tyler Raulo at 13:43 of the 2nd period, giving the Moustache a 2 to 1 lead.
Both teams would battle back and forth, with goaltenders Cuvelier and Raulo shutting the door.
The Moustache's Guy Boudreau would score a natural hattrick with 2:32 remaining in the 2nd period.
The Rinkrats went for the extra attacker with Raulo on the bench.
YFM's Neal Pashkoski would bury one into the empty cage, giving them a 4 to 1 win, Boudrea would assist on the goal.

Your Fathers Moustache lead the 2015 Lake City Cup Final, 2 game to 0 over the Realty Partner Rinkrats. Game 3 is scheduled for Monday 20th, as the Moustache will look to sweep the series.
YFM's Guy Boudreau fired back to back hattricks and has scored 6 of their 8 goals in the Finals.
The Moustache were 0 for 1 on the powerplay, while the Rinkrats were 0 for 2.
Sean Fraser, Scott Chaissson, Eric MacQuarrie and Stewart MacRae of the Moustache and Rob Ritchie and Jeff Sanford of the Rinkrats missed the game.
