Week 3 was our short week, with the Dartmouth Sportsplex's annual Christmas Craft Show taking over our Thursday night games.
Our lone game on Tuesday, saw the leagues two oldest franchises faceoff. The Dartmouth Alpines took on the Secunda Mariners and when all was said and done, including overtime the game ended in a 6 all tie.
Phil Diochon burried a pair, with Evan Bezanson, David Bourne, Steve Healy and Nick Pearl popping singles for the Alpines.
Mariners countered with two from Tyler Hawes and one each from Richard Cashen, Kyle Morash, Derek Taylor and the game tying goal from Ryan Cheverie.

Week 4 started on Tuesday, with the Realty Partner Rinkrats blanking the Wild Turkey's 7 to 0, recording the leagues first shutout of the season and the first one since the 2012-13 season.
Tyler Ravlo recorded his 2nd regular season career shutout.
Justin Dowding led the attack with a couple of goals, including the game winner. Blake Trask, Joe Sanford, Mark Tanner, Chris Kelly and Scott Leverman rounded out the scoring for the Rinkrats.

Thursday's early game saw the second shutout of the season, when Moustache's Kody Cuvelier blanked the Dartmouth Alpines 6 to 0. It was Kody's 3rd career regular season shutout to go along with 2 playoff shutouts.
Stewart MacRae, including the GWG, and Neal Pashkoski found the net twice, while Guy Boudreau and Sean Fraser burried singles.
The Moustache remain undefeated for the season, going 3 and 0, with 21 goals for and only 5 against.

The last game of the week had the Realty Partners Sold Signs and Secunda Mariners each dress rookie goalies to the league and neither team helped them out, as Signs crushed the Mariners 11 to 8.
Sold Signs opened up a 7 to 4 1st period lead, only to have the Mariners tie it at 7, eight minutes into the 2nd period. Mariners then ran into penalty problems midway through the period and saw the Signs score 3 goals in 27 seconds, including 2 powerplay goals.
Sold Signs' Stu Lenelan found the twine 4 times, while Ryan Morris had a hattrick and Clayton Rogers, Tyson Aalders, Ryan Fortune and Josh Coleman added singles.
Tyler Hawes and Richard Cashen each had a hattrick, with Jason Troini and Jordan Cox connecting with one each, in the losing cause.
The victory increases the Sold Signs to 3 wins and 0 losses and a tie for 1st place with the Moustache, who they will meet next Thursday.
