Dartmouth Sportsplex suspension notice.

Week 15; Alpines nip Sold Signs; League suspension notice; Mariners hang on to beat the Rinkrats; Moustache end 3 game losing streak with a win over the Turkey's; League Budget Update.

Week 15 started up after a week away, due to the Canadian Figure Skating Championships being held in Halifax.
Tuesday night had the surging Dartmouth Alpines, win their fifth straight game, by nipping the slumping Realty Partners Sold Signs, 3rd straight loss, 6 to 5.
Alpines' Tim Foster had 5 helpers, to lead the way. Steve Healy popped a hat trick, while Nick Croft had two and Todd Parker would score the game winner.
Ryan Morris and Ryan Fourtune fired 2 goals each, with Stu Lenehan adding the other for the Sold Signs.

Wednesday, the League received a Suspension letter from the Dartmouth Sportsplex, saying we are suspended from the Sportsplex next Tuesday, February 2nd, because they found beer cans in a recycling bin in one of their dressing rooms. they also said we will have to pay for the suspended time and a second offence would cancel the rest of the season.
The League will send a response to the Sportsplex, for their actions.
Team Reps have been made aware of the of the response and will let me know how they want to continue.
As of right now the game schedule on Tuesday, February 2nd between Realty Partners Sold Signs and the Wild Turkey's has been posponed and hopefully will be rescheduled for another date.


Thursday night saw the Secunda Mariners jump out to a 5 to 1 lead after the 1st period on the Realty Partner Rinkrats.
Goals from Kyle Morash, with two, Chris O'Donnell,  Jordan Cox and Andrew Hawrylak added singles for Secunda. Mitchell Wallace replied for the Rinkrats.
The Rinkrats, thanks to two power play, one shorthanded and one even strenght goal in the 2nd period, by Joe Sanford, Mitchell Wallace 2nd of the game, Luke MacDonald and Kevin Hurley came back to tie the game at 5 a piece.
Secunda Mariners would regain the lead with 2:55 remaining in regulation time, as Tyler Hawes found the twine. That would be the game winner, as the hung on for a 6 to 5 victory.

The last game of the week saw the slumping Moustache breakout of their 3 game losing streak by tripling up the Wild Turkey's 15 to 5.
Your Fathers Moustache scored 10 seconds into the game and never looked back and led 7 to 0 after the 1st period.
YFM's Stewart MacRae had 6 goals and 3 assists, while Neal Pashkoski and 1 goal and 7 helpers. Aaron Akitt contributed with 3 goals, Steve MacDonald and Jeff MacNeil each had a pair, with Sean Fraser adding a single.
The Wild, still looking for their first win in two regular seasons, had goals from Todd Miles, with two, with Matt Silver, Grant Fraser and Nick Young replied with one each.
