MVP?, Most Gentlemenly?

Now that the 2003-2004 Regular Season is over, the League recognizes it's Individual Award winners. This season's Leading Point Scorer is Secunda Mariners' Keifer House and the Top Goaltender Average was Paul Forest of the Big Leagues' Rangers. The League would like your assistance in choosing this season's Most Valuable Player and Most Gentlemenly Player.

League President Kelly Saunders, asks that all teams submit to him their teams choice for Most Gentlemenly Player. Teams can use League Statistics, to see for example, who on their team played the most games and had the fewest penalty minutes or may be player who may have more penalty minutes than a teammate but plays a good clean and competive all around game.  

Would also like teams to pick this season's League's Most Valuable Player. This Award is given to the player who is most valuable to their team. The three Finalist for this year are: - Keifer House of the Secunda Mariners. Keifer won his third straight Scoring Title and is going for his second straight MVP Honour. Secunda's scoring machine, had, in 22 games scored 41 goals, 34 assists for 75 points, with 5 game winners, 2 shorthanded goals and 1 powerplay goal. Keifer also was chosen Offensive Player of the Month three times, in the months of November, January and February. - Roddy MacCormick of the Sandtrap Chiefs. Roddy going for his first MVP Honour, scored 25 goals, 37 assists for 62 points in 20 games. MacCormick also tallied 5 game winning goals, 2 in overtime, and 1 powerplay and shorthanded goal. Roddy was Offensive Player of the Month for December. - Also nominated for the Most Valuable Player Award is Sandtrap Chiefs' goaltender Jason White. Jason playing in his first full season with the Chiefs had 92 goals against in 23 games for a goals against average of 4.02. Sandtrap's goaltender had a record of 18 wins, 4 losses and 1 tie for a winning percentage of .804. Jason also earned two Defensive Player of the Month Honours for October and December. 

Winners of these Awards will be anounced at a later date. Congratulations to all those players nominated by their teams and the League.
