Rinkrats Undefeated

Week 2 of Lake City Hockey had the Realty Partner Rinkrats playing twice.
Tuesday night in the battle of the undefeated, Realty Partner took on the Secunda Mariners and skated away with a 6 to 4 victory.
The Rinkrats had 6 different goal scorers, starting with Stu Lenehan, Justin Dowding and Tyler Doyle finding the net in the 1st period. Scott Leverman, Andrew Bonazza and an empty netter from Luke MacDonald answered in the 2nd period.
Secunda got a pair from Cole Hawes, including a penalty shot. Allan Power and Tyler Somers also replied for the Mariners.
The Rinkrats moved to 2 wins 0 losses, while the Mariners fell to 1 and 1.

Thursday night had the Rinkrats take on Your Fathers Moustache. In their first meeting of the season the Rats out scored the Moustache 11 to 8.
The second meeting between the two was not much different for the goaltenders as the Rinkrats once again out scored YFM, this time 10 to 7.
Andrew Bonazza fired a hattrick, while Justin Dowding and Chris Kelly buried a pair each. Blake Trask, Scott Leverman and Ian Lewis added singles. Lewis also chipped in with 4 helpers.
Rookie Rene Goerge potted a hattrick and 2 assists in his first game in the League. Stewart MacRae chipped a pair, with Terry Forbes and Neal Pashkoski added singles. Pashkoski also had 4 helpers to lead the League in points with 6 goals and 9 assists for 15 points in 3 games.

Week 3 sees the Secunda Mariners palying two games, starting with the winless Moustache on Tuesday and the Rinkrats on Thursday.
