Week 4; Rinkrats use overtime to defeat Your Fathers Moustache 7 to 6. Secunda Mariners get revenge on the Moustache, with a 7 to 4 pelting. Period Length; 2- 25's or 3 -15's?

Week 4 began Tuesday with the first overtime game of the season, with the Realty Partner Rinkrats winning 7 to 6 over Your Fathers Moustache.
The Rinkrats jumped out to a 4 to 3 1st period lead on 2 goals from Justin Dowding and 1 each from Jeremy Mock and Jordan Lind. Neal Pashkoski, Bobby Sacre and Jeff MacNeil replied for the Moustache.
The 2nd period had YFM out score the Realty Partner 3 to 2 forcing overtime as regulation time ended 6 to 6.
Tyler Gould, Rene George and with 2:24 remaining Terry Forbes scoring for Your Fathers Moustache. Jeremy Mock fired his second of the game and Matt English answered for the 'Rats.
With just 32 seconds remaining the the 5 minute overtime period, Jeremy Mock buried his third of the game, for the game winner.

Thursday night saw the Secunda Mariners seek revenge on the 10 to 6 loss to Your Fathers Moustache last week with a 7 to 4 victory.
The game was simular to last week with the Moustache attacking often and taking a 4 to 2 lead into the 2nd period.
Stweart MacRae potted a pair with Sean Fraser and Aaron Akitt adding singles for YFM.
Ryan Morris and Cole Hawes adding one each for the Mariners.
The 2nd period was all Secunda, as they scored 5 unanswered goals for a 7 to 4 victory.
Mike Molloy found the twine twice, while Jordan Cox, Tyler Somers and Allan Power lit the light once each.
Mariners goaltender Scott Spencer closed the door in the 2nd period.

Week 5 sees the 1st Place Realty Partner Rinkrats play the double game week.

It has been suggested that we change the periods from 2 - 25 minute periods to 3 - 15 minute periods to give the player 2 breaks instead of the one we get now.
Let me know if this is something you want to do or keep it as it is?
