Week 5 had the 1st Place Realty Partner Rinkrats playing two games, starting with the 2nd Place Secunda Mariners on Tuesday.
The game was all offence as the Rinkrats out skated the Mariners 11 to 9.
The Rinkrats were led by Tyler Doyle's 4 goals, 3 assists and Andrew Bonazza's 3 goals and 5 helpers.
Other scorers for Realty Partner were Justin Dowding with a pair, and Scott Leverman, Blake Trask with singles.
Rinkrats were 2 for 4 on the powerplay and also scored a shorthanded goal.
The Secunda Mariners had 3 goals from Allan Power and 2 from Cole Hawes. Kyle Morash, Jordan Cox, Ryan Morris and Andrew MacLeod added singles.
Power's 2 of 3 goals were shorthanded.
 
Thursday night saw Your Fathers Moustache winning their second game of the season, finding the net 10 times, as they defeated the Rinkrats 10 to 6.
The Moustache jumped out to a 4 to 3 1st period lead with a pair of goals each from Stewart MacRae and Aaron Akitt.
Stu Lenehan replied with 2 for the Rinkrats along with Tyler Doyle.
YFM doubled up on the Rats in the 2nd period, out scoring them 6 to 3.
Rene Goerge, Steve MacDonald, Scott MacDonald, Neal Pashkoski,Jeff MacNeil and Aaron Akitt completed his hattrick, with singles for the Moustache in that period.
Jeremy Mock potted a couple and Blake Trask found the twine for the Rinkrats.
