First of Six Meetings

The 38th Season of the Lake City Gentlemen's Hockey League began on October 13th with two of oldest franchises. The Secunda Mariners defeating the Terra Trojans 6 to 5, on a game winner from Mark Vokey.
The Chezzatcook Chiefs in their second season and second season opener victory defeating the Rink Rats again, this time by a 9 to 6 shootout. Brady Griffin-Hefford and Layton Parsons led the way, each scoring a hattrick.

Week Two saw one of the lowest scoring games in years, as the Rink Rats win their first of the season by defeating the Secunda Mariners 2 to 1 in overtime. Brendan Childerley notched the OT winner with just 18 remaining.
The Terra Trojans flexed their muscles by tripling up on the Chiefs 9 to 3. The Trojans had seven different goal scores in the game with Andrew Wiggington potting a pair,

Week Three sees the final match ups of all four teams.
October 27th had the Rink Rats nip the Trojans 6 to 5 on Andrew Bonazza third goal of the game and game winner.
In the last game of the week had the Mariners sink the Chiefs 7 to 5. Michael Crawley buried the biscuit 3 times, including the victory goal.

The Secunda Mariners currently lead the league with 2 wins and 1 overtime loss for 5 points. The Rink Rats hold down 2nd Place with 4 points, followed by the Terra Trojans and Chezzetcook Chiefs with 2 points each.
