Seven Team League

With the sudden departure of the Fairview Aces Hockey Club so close to the start of the season. League President Kelly Saunders informed the seven remaining teams' League Govenors that we would play the upcoming 2004-05 season with just seven teams. The format will be the same as the 1999-2000 season, where each team will play against each other 4 times for a total of 24 games. The team that finishes 1st Place overall in the regular season, will get a Quarter Final bye. The remainig 6 teams will compete in the Quarter Finals as follows; 7th Place will play 2nd Place, 6th Place will take on 3rd Place and 5th Place will tangle with 4th Place. The 3 winners of the Quarter Finals plus the regular season champions will meet in the Semi Finals with lowest regular season point total team taking on the highest point total team. The league will continue to start on Tuesday, October 5th, with the T.J. Devils taking on the Secunda Mariners @ 8:30pm, followed by the Dartmouth Alpines visiting the Sandtrap Chiefs @ 9:40pm. Thursday, October 7th sees Your Fathers Moustache meeting Scotiabank @ 8:00pm and the Big Leagues' Rangers square off against the T.J. Devls @ 9:10pm. Their will only be 2 games on Thursday instead of the usual 3 games. A new 2004-05 regular season schedule will be out soon, please check web site for games and tell others on your team.
