2010 Playoffs Start Tuesday.

The 2010 Lake City Cup Quarter Finals begin on Tuesday, March 2nd with the 6th place Bacardi Rangers taking on 3rd place Moose Light Shamrocks at 9:00pm. The nightcap pits the 5th place Rinkrats taking on 4th place Your Fathers Moustache at 10:15pm.

Game 2 of the best of 3 Quarter Final between Your Father Moustache and Rinkrats takes place Thursday, March 4th at 9:00pm. Game 1 between the 7th place Scotian Canadians and 2nd place Dartmouth Alpines begins at 10:15pm.

Overtime if needed in any playoff game is 5 on 5 and a 10 minute straight time period followed by a 5 different player shootout. If still tied teams may use any of their first 5 players again, only once until a winner is determined.

Our league rules to determine final standings if teams are tied with points is as follows. Most wins, goals for and against differential, head to head, least amount of penalty minutes and last if still tied a coin toss. The Bacardi Rangers were awarded 6th place because of a better goals for and against differential.

Any player to be eligible for the playoffs must have played in 9 regular season games. Check team statistics for playoff eligibility of players.
