This week's games saw the completion of the first quarter of the season, all 7 teams having played each other once.
Tuesday started out with the Sandtrap Chiefs downing the T.J. Devils 7 to 4. Scott Cote led the Chiefs with a goal and 3 assists. Craig Whynot potted a pair and Trevor Doyle, Mark Walsh, Mike Johnson and Darryl Braine added singles in the win.Glen McMillan scored 2 goals with Rob Ritchie and Steve Kinch rounding out the scoring for the Devils.
Big Leagues' Rangers' Reg Bowes had 3 first period goals to power them to a 4 to 1 victory over the Secunda Mariners. Rangers' Dave Hessian added a shorthanded goal, while Rick Findlay had a powerplay goal for the Mariners.

In the first game on Thursday night, the Chiefs moved into 1st place, with a 7 to 4 win over the Rangers. Sandtrap took advantage of their powerplay opportunities, scoring 4 powerplay goals in the victory. Chiefs' Craig Whynot had 2 goals and 2 assists, Paul Wright deposited a couple, with Scott Cote, Gord Dickie and Roddy MacCormick hitting the mark. The Rangers replied with goals from Richie Holmes, Mark Whebby, Jim Morash and Shane Murphy. 
The second game had the T.J. Devils doubling up on Your Fathers Moustache 6 to 3. Kenny Hughes had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the Devils, Dave Roode, Scott Fairburn, Steve Kinch and Troy Ritcey added a goal each. Jeff Norrie, Jamie MacVicar and Mike Shea scored for the winless Moustache. 
The Dartmouth Alpines moved into a 1st place tie with the Chiefs, on a 6 to 4 victory over Scotiabank. Chris Boutilier and Jay Washington had a pair each and Scott MacKinnon and Graham McLeod also found the net for the Alpines. Scotiabank's Glen Buchanan had 2 goals, with Todd Miles and Marcello Fabrizi adding singles in the loss. 

With the first quarter of the season now over, we see the Dartmouth Alpines and Sandtrap Chiefs atop of the standings with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss. There is a log jam for 3rd through 6th place, with Big Leagues, Mariners and Scotiabank sporting a .500 record at 3 wins and 3 losses each, followed by the T.J Devils at 2 and 4. Your Fathers Moustache sit in the basement with no wins and 6 losses, but are only 4 points behined the Devils for 6th place.
