Unfortunately, one of our oldest and winningest franchises has folded. Starting in the 1989-90 season and known as the Dartmouth Building Supply Rangers, the Bacardi Rangers after 21 seasons; 5 First Place finishes, 3 MVP, 4 Most Gentlemanly, 11 Goaltending  regular season awards and 8 Lake City Cup appearances and winning 6 of them, 5 playoff MVP’s, 3 playoff scoring leaders and 9 playoff goaltending awards. Thank you to all the players who played for the Rangers over the years, you made the league better, opposing teams try harder and set bar for many teams to follow. Some of the Rangers’ players have joined other teams, if any other team is looking for players, please contact Jim Morash.

The league will go with 6 teams and a balanced schedule. Each team will play each other 4 times, for a total of 20 games. The cost of ice rental per hour went up to $210.00 or $525.00 a night and the cost of 2 referees went up to $58.00 an hour or $145.00 a night. A tentative budget to operate the league this season is $28,718.00 and cost per team is $4,790.00. This may change depending on a new playoff format.
