Shamrocks not just lucky.

Week 13 - Recap Shamrocks making a move in the standings. Alpines rebound with a pair of wins. Mariners tie Rangers late in the game.

Shamrocks might bring you luck, but their is no luck needed for Moose Light, as they won their 6th straight game Tuesday night. The Shamrocks thumped the Scotian Canadians 10 to 3, again it was a team effort with eight different goal scorers. Paul Wright led the attack with 2 goals and 2 assists, Roddy MacCormick also had a pair goals, while Craig Whynot, Sebastien Decaens, Mark Walsh, Rick Findlay, Gord Dickie and Trevoe Doyle added singles.
The Canadians, who stopped a 6 game losing streak last week with an upset victory against Secunda, fell back to their losing ways. Scoring for Scotian was Danny Brewer, Jeff Mullins and Mike Sim.

The Dartmouth Alpines rebounded from their first loss of the season last week, by blasting the Rinkrats 8 to 3. Dartmouth's Jay Washington, Dwight Lucas and Glenn MacDonald took things into their own hands combining for 19 points. Jay led the way with a season high 8 points, 3 goals and 5 assists. Dwight  popped 4 goals and added 2 helpers while Glenn had a goal and 5 assists as well.
Justin Dowding replied with a pair for the Rinkrats. Kelly Serbu also found the net in the loss.

The Alpines were back at again on Thursday, this time against Your Fathers Moustache. In a seesaw battle had Dartmouth edging out the Moustache 6 to 5, scoring the game winner with 3:09 remaining in regulation time. 
Alpines' scoring was by Darren Welsh with 2, Chris Boutilier, Dwigth Lucas, Glenn MacDonald and Todd Parker with his league leading 5th game winning goal. League point leader Sean Fraser scored a hattrick, with Jamie MacVivar and Glenn Dahlgren adding singles for the Your Fathers Moustache. YMF will be looking for revenge next week when the 2 teams meet again.

In the final game of the week had the Secunda Mariners score 2 goals in the last 34 seconds, to eek out a 4 all overtime tie with the Bacardi Rangers. Mariners' Jay Casivi, Keifer House, Chris Pitts and Doug Clark found the net. Allan Lake buried a pair, including his second shorthanded goal of the season, while Jeff Branson and Scott Allison  added singles for Bacardi.
