Moustache humble Realty Partners; Wild shocks the Rinkrats; Mariners rally to down the Alpines in OT.

Tuesday night's lone game had Your Fathers Moustache humbling Realty Partners 7 to 4, to move within 1 point of 1st place. Moustache's Brad Stewart and Neal Pashkoski powered the team to victory with 2 goals and an assist each. The Partners had 4 different goal scorers and remained tied for 4th place.

In the upset of the season so far, Norway defeated Cana....no wait, the last place Wild Turkey's shocked the 1st place Realty Partner Rinkrats 5 to 2. After trailling 2 to 0 after the 1st period the Wild scored 5 unanswered 2nd period goals for their 2nd win of the season. 2 goals each by Terry Tremblay and Don Murray sealed the upset win. The loss by the Rinkrats allows Your Fathers Moustache to move one point behind, with each team having 3 games left in the regular season.

In Thursday's nightcap; the Secunda Mariners clinched 3rd place with a 8 to 7 overtime victory over 4th place Dartmouth Alpines. The Alpines trail the Mariners by 6 points in the standings, but even if they should win their remaining games and the Secunda loses, the Mariners would get 3rd place on more victories. The Alpines needing the win jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead, before the Mariners woke up and scored the next 3. The Alpines held a 5 to 3 lead after the 1st on 3 goals by Tim Foster. Secunda scored the first 2 in the 2nd to tie it at 5, That was followed by 1 by the Alpines and then 2 by the Mariners for their first lead of the game, 7 to 6. Only 8 seconds after taking the lead, Alpines' Todd Parker tied it at 7 forcing overtime. Both teams had chances in OT, but with only 45 seconds remaining Mariners' Jason Troini buried his fourth goal of the game for the win. Dartmouth's overtime point  moved them 1 point up on the Realty Partners for 4th place.
