Round Robin Continues

Week 2 of the Round Robin continued with the Wild Turkey's playing their first game and came up with a big 1 to 1 tie with the Realty Partner Rinkrats. The Rinkrats improved to 1 - 0 - 1 for 3 points.
Joe Sanford of the 'rats opened the scoring in the 1st period, with the Turkey's regular season leading scorer, Todd Miles, tying the game at 1 halfway through the 2nd period, Neither side could win it in overtime.
The Wild will try to add to their point total with ther final 2 games of the Round Robin, when they play the Secunda Mariners Tuesday night at 10:45pm and then again on Thursday finishing off with Your Fathers Moustache. The Rinkrats can secure a Semi Final birth with a victory over Realty Partners on Tuesday at 9:30pm.

Thursday night had the Secunda Mariners play their first game of the playoffs and came away with a convincing 6 to 2 win over the Realty Partners. Steve Widmeyer potted 2 goals while Mariners teammates Chris O'Donnell and Derek Tayor each had a goal and 2 assists. Clayton Rogers and Tyler Noye replied for the Partners. The Partners have 1 game remaining against the Rinkrats on Tuesday, a must win if they hope to advance to the Semi Final. The Mariners play the Wild Turkey's on Tuesday and the Dartmouth Alpines on Thursday, both games at 10:45pm.

Your Fathers Moustache moved to 2 and 0, with a 3 to 1 victory over the now 0 and 2 Dartmouth Alpines. Simular to their first game the Alpines lost the game late in regulation time, when YFM's Glenn Dahlgren scored what would be the game winner with 2:40 left in the 2nd period. Neal Pashkoski added his 2nd of the playoffs, 54 seconds later. Dartmouth's Nick Croft had their lone goal.
The Alpines will need a win over the Secunda Mariners next Thursday and hope that the Wild and Realty Partners lose their remaining games. Your Fathers Moustache advance the Semi Finals with the victory and could finish first with a victory over the Wild Turkey's next Thursday.

Just a reminder to the Wild Turkey's and Secunda Mariners they will play 2 games next week. First one against each other on Tuesday, March 25th at 10:45pm. The Wild will play on Thursday 27th at 9:30pm against the Moustache followed by the Mariners and Alpines at 10:45pm.
