Offensive and Defensive Players of January

For the second time this season, the Offensive Player of the Month, is Secunda Mariners' Keifer House. Keifer played in 5 of the teams 6 games, scoring 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points. Of those 11 goals, 2 were game winners and 1 shorthanded.

January's Defensive Player of the Month is Corey Irving of the Secunda Mariners. Corey had 4 wins, including the League's first shutout of the season for the Mariners. Corey also filled in for the Chiefs' Jason White with 10 minutes remaining, due to an injury to Jason, the Chiefs were leading 6 to 5 and Corey held Scotiabank scoreless, as the Chiefs won 9 to 5. The Dartmouth Alpines called on Corey's services in a 7 to 4 victory over the Fairview Aces. Corey went for a combined 5 wins 2 losses and 25 goals against for a 3.45 goals against average.
